Our Story
Ses Gwelax Consulting (SGC) is an Indigenous women-owned business dedicated to empowering Indigenous governance and providing mentorship to lead impactful projects. Located in Tŝilhqot'in territory, SGC offers both remote and in-person support tailored to the needs of communities.
Through customized services, SGC aims to strengthen Indigenous governance initiatives by providing the tools and expertise necessary for communities and Nations to achieve their goals while respecting and honouring cultural traditions and land-based values.

Spring burn at Xeni - Thoughts from Michelle Myers
In partnership with Gathering Voices Society, Michelle led a cultural burning revitalization project in Xeni Gwet’in, reintroducing the traditional practice of using fire as a tool for land restoration and renewal.

Michelle was invited to write a reflection on the work of Dasiqox following her collaboration with them. The piece, “Gathering With Our Hearts at Teẑtan Biny,” shares insights into the gathering, the importance of cultural connection, and the ongoing work to protect and sustain the land.

Xeni Gwet’in Community Electrification Project- Underground Distribution
New Relationship Trust highlighted Michelle’s work on an underground distribution line extending from the central community’s solar-powered microgrid to connect a nearby western community in Xeni Gwet’in that had been reliant on diesel generators.
